LAST WEEK'S ROUNDUP: A light to moderate trade developed Friday 
afternoon with Southern live trade ranging from 108.00-110.00, 
$2 to $4 lower than last week's weighted averages. Northern 
dressed business ranged from 170.00-173.00, generally $4 to $7 
lower than last week's weighted average basis Nebraska. 
According to the Friday afternoon Mandatory reports total 
weekly trade volumes were as follows: KS 4,545; NE 14,751; TX 
5,620; CO Not available due to confidentiality; IA 4,287. As 
you can see these totals are fairly light and should be 
somewhat larger when summaries are released later this morning.

DTN MORNING COMMENTS:  The country is typically quiet this 
morning with packers focusing on the collection of new 
showlists. Significant trade volume will likely be delayed 
until the second half of the week. Beef cutouts are expected to 
be mixed with light box movement. 

For the week ending June 16, 2018, Imported Beef Passed for 
Entry in the U.S. totaled 42,928, 113.50% of the previous week 
and 107.84% of the prior 4-week average.
